Sometimes loads of fun requires large cargo, the kind towed behind you. Count on ROCKSTAR™ Hitch Mounted Mud Flaps to pull through with total and complete protection. The rustproof aluminum frame with a large built-in stabilizer plate eliminates rocking while the extra thick half inch rubber minimizes sailing. Our model specific and universal ROCKSTAR™ Hitch Mounted Mud Flaps are available in four sizes and two finishes. For complete tire coverage choose from our Large or Extra Large rock guards. For even better coverage or trucks with offset tires choose our Two Extra Large and for the best coverage or dually pickups choose Three Extra Large. Trim to fit rubber applications are designed for trucks with oversized tires and lift or suspension kits. ROCKSTAR™ Hitch Mounted Mud Flaps deliver the ultimate trailer protection in style.
Recommended mud flap ground clearance is 5 to 7 in. Suggested clearance with a load is 3 in. minimum to prevent mud flaps from dragging. Model specific towing mud flaps are designed to fit OEM receivers and bumpers, may not fit aftermarket products. See Important Specifications

MODEL SPECIFIC Closely contours to the bumper and accounts for OEM dual exhaust flow with perforated rubber.
UNIVERSAL Fits vehicles with center bumper step and accommodates 09-18 RAM 1500 and 19-ON Classic OEM dual exhaust flow. For Chevy/GMC 2500 and 3500 models, heat shield is standard for model specific and recommended for universal. Sold separately for pickups with custom exhaust.

" I recently purchased your Rockstar 3XL and the 2-1/2" mounting clamp for my Chevy dually. I love how it looks and can't wait to see how it works keeping my trailer safe. I am sure it will work perfectly. I was very happy with how easy it was to assemble and mount. The only thing I have an issue with is how the clamp had to be mounted to the face of the frame, since the receiver on my truck sticks out to far for the bumper stabilizers to contact the bumper with the clamp mounted on the back of the frame. I know you are aware of the issue, since the instructions indicate this might be a problem, and to mount the clamp to the face of the frame if this happens. My only concern with this setup is the nuts holding the clamp to the frame are very visible and easily accessible. Maybe I am being a bit paranoid, but I believe this might give some people an incentive to attempt to remove the flaps from my truck. I have a suggestion that you might, or might not, want to consider. Why not make the bumper stabilizers adjustable? It wouldn't be difficult to accomplish, and would make it possible to use the clamp as intended. It would also greatly improve the looks of the entire mudflap. I realize that this will add a bit to the cost of these things but, it should be a minimal increase, if any at all. "

" I tow my boat down a gravel road to get to where I need to launch. For years, I have been trying to find a solution, to keep it from being damaged, that wasn't a permanent mounted mudflap. These ROCKSTAR mud flaps appear to be the answer to my quest. Honestly, wish I had found them 15 years ago -- would have saved a lot of damage to my trailers. My initial impression upon opening the box was WOW. The quality of materials truly impressed me before I even started. Living in the Midwest rust belt, I really appreciate the use of heavy aluminum for the frame, and how many companies go to the expense of using actual stainless steel hardware anymore? The instructions are easy to read and follow and actual assembly is simple and straightforward. The actual mudflaps are thicker than the ones on my semi. Everything about these says quality. The savings in reduced damage to trailers and boats makes them worth every cent. "
